Today's second movie of the day = Groundhog Day. Since Rook has a snow day I figured I'd introduce him to this gem of cinema.
I have seen this one multiple times and I quite it with frequency. So many great lines.
I did realize, in this viewing, how much actually happens overall. Considering it's only an hour and forty minutes they really packed a lot in. The pacing is solid, however, so it doesn't feel cramped.
It was good to show this one to Rook as it shows that being kind and empathetic is the way to go. As Phil's character changes, he builds character traits which make his personality more likable. It ends up giving a good message and I'm glad Rook recognized it.
Still a great film and still one I'd highly recommend.
