I had my interview on August 31st. Now, on November 7th, I start my training up in Denver. I'm looking forward to this new challenge. It will pose new challenges for life here at home but it seems like it's going to be a really interesting job and I am excited to see what it brings. It's not directly in the field of Safety, as I planned, but it is something that could open up doors. Plus it's a matter of preserving historical sites from natural disasters so that is right in my idea of 'cool stuff'. :)
Congrats! Your background as a History instructor fits nicely with your new career.
