Finished up season three of What We Do in the Shadows last night. This show is still one of Lisa and my favorite series and it just keeps getting better and better every year. This season, while not quite as funny, had more character development. Much like the idea of Buffy the Vampire Slayer being a show that shouldn't work on paper, it does. What We Do in the Shadows is the same way as it sounds too dumb to work, but it does. The actors just throw everything into it and make it so funny! It was fun to see The Baron come back this season as Doug Jones is so great in the role and it was one of the funniest episodes. It was also fun seeing Guillermo becoming more prominent as he is always a high point. Sadly, Colin Robinson was not used as much this season but whenever he is on screen it's almost a guaranteed LOL moment.
If you haven't gotten into this show...DO! I recommend it to everyone. It is so unique and fun. The movie was fun but the series is even more so. There are some great big name cameos in the show as well. Created by Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement, it is not like the majority of United States comedies. Instead, it is it's own thing and runs with it, creating greatness! :)
