The Fly (1958)

Today's movie of the day = The Fly (1958). I almost forgot to post my review! I also didn't realize it was a colorized version of the film as well so that's two that were supposed to be black and white that didn't fit my October bill. :( I thought I had seen the original before as I definitely remember the ending but I guess I was wrong. I did remember it but the rest of the film, not so much. This one was solid. The ending was pretty lame but the rest of it was good enough to make up for it. I can see how the remake used a bunch of the material from this film. The effect makeup for the fly/human was pretty decent for the time. It didn't look super corny. It was the little fly/human where the ball was dropped. Yes, I'd recommend this film.
