Where the Crawdads Sing (Book)

I know I'm late to the party but I just finished this excellent novel. It's been a LONG time since I've read a book like this (as I mostly read non-fiction these days). That being said, I very much enjoyed this reading. The author does an amazing job of transporting the reader to the marshes of North Carolina. Her descriptive styling sucked me in to the life of Kya and the challenges she faced. It's hard to categorize this book into any single genre, which is a good thing. I'd definitely recommend this one too anyone and everyone.
