Today's movie of the day = Abbott and Costello Meet The Invisible Man. This one had at least some story, even if it was a silly concept. They also referenced the original film. Of course, they didn't apply the concept that the serum made one go crazy but I guess at least mentioning it was something.
I'm still fairly impressed with how they did some of the invisible effects. It was more about the time period than them being anything fantastical.
This one didn't have as much slapstick as the other two. Sure, in the main fight scene, sure, but the rest was more restrained. One of my favorite running gags is that Abbott always gets the beautiful women while Costello is ignored.
This one was fun but not as funny as others. As always, I'd recommend it as a time piece to look into the past and the popularity of these two.
